There are many great music venues in Charlotte, North Carolina, some of the most popular and well-known venues include:
The Fillmore Charlotte: This historic venue is located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte and has a capacity of around 2,000 people. It's known for hosting a wide variety of acts, including big-name touring acts, local bands, and comedy shows.
The Underground: This intimate venue is located in the basement of the Charlotte Convention Center and can hold up to 550 people. It's known for hosting up-and-coming acts and local bands.
The Visulite Theatre: This venue has a capacity of around 600 people and is located in the Elizabeth neighborhood of Charlotte. It's known for hosting a wide variety of acts, including indie rock, blues, and Americana.
The Neighborhood Theatre: This venue is located in the NoDa neighborhood of Charlotte and has a capacity of around 600 people. It's known for hosting a wide variety of acts, including indie rock, folk, and reggae.
The PNC Music Pavilion: This large outdoor venue has a capacity of around 19,000 people and is located in the University City area of Charlotte. It's known for hosting big-name touring acts and summer concert series.
The BlackBox Theater: This is one of my favorites, the Blackbox Theater is a small venue with a capacity of 1500. EDM music reigns here. Booking acts like, Of The Trees, Big Something, SoDown, and Boogie T. They also host Digital Gardens music fest with acts such as Troy Boi, CloZee, and Lab Group.
